Online learning is different from in person learning because you don't have that close communication with the instructor or other students. Taking this online class I do feel a little distant because I'm not able to just raise my hand and be ask a question, I have to e-mail it. Even though it is simple just to send a e-mail I find it more simple to just already be in a classroom setting to raise your hand. One benefit in having an online class is being able to jump ahead. Instead of being in a class room for an hour someone can just finish up their homework in a hour or two and decide if they want to move on. One challenge I did find in the class was to maintain the blogs and figure out how to post certain things, like a power point. I would indeed say that the blog was most beneficial technology wise. I never use to blog, but now that I know how I might just take up blogging because some of my family does it. One thing that i did like the most in this class was being able to pick some of the essay topics. I found that writing a essay is easier when it is something that a person is interested in. I would still use my blog in the future, and I will still use the technique I have gained in the course, and that was trying to make myself interested into something I'm not. So trying to make something out of nothing. Nevertheless I did have a good experience in this class and I would love to take it again. Not only did I learn how to write better papers, but i have learned how to use some new technology.
